zzzzz

you spelt Sequence Wrong

Arnas responds:

I spelt it wrong on purpose. It's wordplay. Pearls + Sea. Sea + Sequence = Seaquence

cool

awesome progression

could use some drums halfway through with heaps of reverb on the snare.

Calamaistr responds:

never noticed a review here, sorry it took 50 years to reply man.
thanks for the review.

nice job

I probably enjoyed this the most out of all your IDM tracks. I really liked the panning effects around the first quater of the song and of course of wild finger tapping. One thing I wonder is how you get your drum patterns so intricate. I'm assuming you slow down the tempo and spend loads of time fiddling around to get the patterns perfect. :D Time well spent.

The tune was nice and relaxing, and had a really nice reverb but it does get bland around midway through the song. I love how the song really picks up at the end, but it seems like it could have gone on for a lot longer, like the song only just started.

The intro was pretty good, but the fade in hats, eh just so overused. Try something else next time, I know i'm being picky, but still. Yeah lol.

Well then, it will be interesting to see if you can top this, pretty gooooood song if you ask me. Now make an 8-bit version!

Seeyou around!

:D Lotsa love from da box-killa!

SessileNomad responds:

lol gotta get those hats in sometime xD

as far as intricate drums go, i really just know what im doing, i dont really slow anything down to make sure it works, i can picture a sound in my head and i generally know how to achieve it

i kinda wanted to leave the listener on a crazy note, thats why i took it out kind of quickly with the crazy drums

glad you liked it brah

:D Sweet pees

Yay! chiptune, just what i felt like. Good job. Great tune aswel, and those effects were pretty rad.

e991e responds:

haha thanks Box-Killa!

pretty groovy stuff

A lot of the levels were rather off, you could have dont a bit more on the mixing side, but i did like all those nasty effects and wierd synths. That bass drum was quite different too :D

InvisibleObserver responds:

Bass drums being pretty heavily automated per kick to get a neat rolling sound, though you are absolutely right about the mix. It will be neatened, its just a tad tricky to do it right mixed in with the present effects. Makes everything have sort of layers of mixing to be done beyond straight volume editing.

coooool

I like the intro :D But I think instead of adding drums strait away you could have played around with that "breath pad", like gated it or added an effect which lead into the drums. Meh, just giving you ideas, like instead of just playing around with drums the whole time, you could play around with the background too.

I liked the slowness of the song, but it could have had an epic climax, or just a tempo increase, but I suppose it is ambient with drums so....

Good to see its not just bass drum hats and snare, you also threw in some wierd percussion sounds.

After a while that pad sort of becomes kinda mundane. Maybe you could have faded it out for a while and then come in with some mega fast piano line.

Well then, good luck on your next song!

SessileNomad responds:

actually i don think i threw any odd precussives in there, just odd ways of manipulating them :)

awesome

I really like the tune. IT is so addictive, kinda cheesy but totally original and awesome! Good job.

the quality of the synths was real nice too. The bass drum could have been a bit heavier though.

well nice job, go check out my latest flash.

Breed responds:

well thanx man i definitely hesitated putting it up because of the extreme cheesiness but the catchiness prevailed i suppose so i haven't taken it down yet. =/

cool

the sound is pretty chipish, and tune was pretty rad.

Nice job :D

DrClay responds:

<3 Thanks dude

cool

yeah it sounds a little robotic. You should work on changing the volume of each note to make it sound more human. Could also do with a bit of echo and reverb :D

nice job though, like the chord progression and melodies.

Jnr1114 responds:

Yeah, looking back on it now I noticed. I will humanize the best I can before I release the full version.

Thanks for the review!

awesome

great beat, original, could use a bit more mastering though :D

e991e responds:

Thanks Box
